Personality:

Jackson Kenner is the alpha of the Crescent wolves. He's a bit on the quiet side, but he's honestly one of the few 'good' characters to come out of this canon. He can be stubborn, a little temperamental at times, and he's proud, but he's not averse to asking for help when he needs it.  He's not overly talkative, but he manages in social situations, although his first concern is always going to be his own people. 

Jackson is a lot of things, but first and foremost, he's a wolf, and that defines a lot of the choices he makes. He admittedly had a pretty bad temper when he was younger, but becoming alpha kind of laid that to rest. There are hints of it, usually around Klaus, but he keeps that  on a very short leash. 

Jackson's got a strong moral code too, and while he can be willing to work with certain vampires, he doesn't like getting involved in vampire business. It never ends well. His pack is his first concern throughout the series, at least until he marries Hayley, and then his focus shifts a bit, to the point he was ready to hand the pack over to Aiden until he knew things had settled down.

He's basically a quiet man from the bayou who by virtue of his birth got dragged into a war that didn't necessarily need him, but he did what he was able to try to protect his pack and family, and he paid the price for it. 

He doesn't like Klaus, never has, never will and not only because the hybrid turned on him and his pack when he tried to give Hayley an out. Jackson, at least, doesn't feel the need to hurt his own people just to win a battle, even if it makes him weaker than Klaus in some ways. 

Speaking of Klaus, these two butted heads quite a bit because Jackson didn't necessarily agree with the hybrid's attempts to control his pack 'for the defense of his daughter', and he had no problems telling Klaus so, although he relented when Hayley interceded, but after Aiden died?

All bets were off. Jackson had already moved out of the Abattoir by then, though, and it just firmed his resolve to take Hayley and Hope and run. Which worked out about as well as you'd expect for him, given Klaus's temper. 


So basically, Jackson Kenner is a proud, strong-willed werewolf, who doesn't take shit from anyone when it comes to his pack. He's a solid leader, intelligent, and holds to his beliefs and views even when it makes things more difficult for him in the short term. He's a good man with a good heart at the end of the day and that's really what makes him the leader he is.

He's not going to be all that happy initially in Teleios but having Hayley there will definitely help to smooth things over, not to mention the lack of his curse. I think he's likely to adapt well once he gets the hang of things, and he friendly enough to build CR easily with the people he seeks out.
